In-Home ABA Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the science of learning and behavior. In-Home Therapy is tailored to meet the needs of clients in their own living environment. This allows therapists to work with children and adolescents on skills in the context where they are naturally used. It also provides an opportunity for family members to be directly involved in the therapeutic process. In-Home Therapy can be particularly effective in addressing daily living skills, behavior reduction skills, communication skills, and parent training in a familiar and comfortable setting for the client.

Clinic Based ABA Therapy

ABA therapy in the clinic setting allows children the opportunity to engage with and learn alongside peers, while receiving 1:1 therapy in a highly structured and supportive environment. In addition, our clinics provide social skills groups, advanced communication development, and school readiness programs, within small groups of children of similar age and skill.

Social Skills Groups

Social Skills Groups are designed to enhance interpersonal skills in a group setting. These sessions focus on teaching and practicing social skills like conversation, play, empathy, problem solving, and cooperation. Conducted in a controlled but naturalistic environment, these groups help clients practice real-world social interactions while building confidence and social competence.

School Based Support

Our School-Based Therapy focuses on helping clients succeed in their educational settings. Collaborating closely with school personnel, our therapists work to create and implement strategies that assist in overcoming learning barriers. This service includes individualized support in the classroom, aiding in social integration, and ensuring that educational goals align with the client’s ABA therapy goals.

Parent Training & Support

Parents are always the first and most direct line of care for a child. As such, there is a strong parent training element to all of our treatment plans. Parent training is mandatory at ABI as we strongly believe that it is the core of all progress. Our team places a high emphasis on parent training because we want everyone to be on the same page at all times! This includes collecting parental input relating to therapy and educating parents, so they have tools to effectively incorporate therapy goals at home even after we are leave.
